Tobogganing on Rosswald

From Alpe Rosswald down to the valley station of the cable car in Ried-Brig - first fast, then leisurely. You pass Rosswald over snow-covered coniferous forests in winter.

From Rosswald down to Ried-Brig there is a very well groomed toboggan run, about eight kilometres long. The experience begins when you get off the gondola, which takes you to the starting point: From the Rosswald you have a wonderful and wide view of the upper Rhone valley. The toboggan run overcomes an altitude difference of 783 metres from start to finish and offers varied curves as well as more leisurely passages. The start is directly below the mountain station of the Rosswald cable cars and ends near the valley station in Ried-Brig. On the way there is a lot of variety for the athletes. At the beginning there are a few faster passages to drive through, in the second part of the route the speed becomes more leisurely and the route widens. Through snow-covered coniferous forests you finally descend to the valley station in Ried-Brig. By the way, you can easily get there by bus, which runs regularly from Brig station to the valley station of the gondola lift. On the runners, ready, go!
